Custom garage cabinets in the Bay Area.
Garage cabinetry planned around what you store and how you use the space. Millwork USA reviews storage cabinets, drawer banks and work-surface packages from its Morgan Hill manufacturing base.

Developed around your project.
Start with the storage requirements
Identify tools, seasonal containers, equipment and everyday items, including anything unusually large or heavy. The proposed package can distinguish tall cabinets, adjustable shelf storage, drawer banks and work surfaces. Contents and available space determine the layout; capacity and supporting details are confirmed for the specified construction.
Keep the room usable
Review vehicle clearance, door operation, existing outlets and access to equipment or services with the project team. Record wall and floor conditions, backing requirements and the surfaces the cabinetry will meet. An existing garage and a new build may require different preparation; those responsibilities should be clear before release.
Price a defined cabinet package
Separate the cabinet assemblies, visible surfaces, interiors, hardware and work surfaces in the proposal. Agree on materials and finish samples, then identify delivery, site preparation and installation responsibilities. Changes to cabinet quantity or layout should have a written cost and schedule review rather than becoming assumptions during production.
What to send for an estimate
Send a garage plan or approximate dimensions, photographs of the walls, a storage inventory and your project location. Include any workbench requirements, equipment that must remain accessible and target timing.
Serving Bay Area projects from Morgan Hill. Los Angeles-area projects are reviewed by location, scope, and installation requirements.
Separate the specification from the estimate
Identify the cabinet or panel substrate, visible finish, edge treatment, hardware and installation interfaces in your brief. State which items are specified and which need review. Availability, load ratings, moisture exposure and finish samples must be confirmed before manufacture; a planning guide is not a product specification or a fixed-price offer.
Completed residential references: Los Angeles cabinetry and illuminated storage, Lancaster kitchen and living-room built-ins, and Berkeley kitchen, island and fitted casework. These are residential interior references, not completed garage installations.
Millwork USA LLC provides custom millwork design-development, manufacturing, supply, delivery coordination and related project services. Installation services requiring a contractor's license are performed under separate agreement by appropriately licensed independent contractors.

Garage layout and build planning: a Los Gatos guideCompleted work
Our completed-project gallery shows cabinetry and millwork in residential interiors. For garage-specific finishes and construction, the review must establish the requirements for your own space.

Storage inventory
List the dimensions and intended location of tools, containers, sports equipment and bulky items.
Shelf openings, drawer sizes and cabinet depth should follow the contents, rather than divide the wall into identical boxes.
Loads and support
Identify heavy items, proposed shelf spans and the mounting surface.
Load capacity depends on the complete assembly, hardware and anchorage. A material name alone is not a load rating.
Clearances and services
Show parked vehicles, garage-door travel, outlets, utility equipment and required access.
Cabinet depth and door swing must preserve usable circulation and service access. The relevant trades confirm equipment clearances.
Exposure and surfaces
Record slab conditions, likely moisture exposure, cleaning needs and workbench use.
Interior-grade cabinetry should not be assumed suitable for exterior or regularly wet conditions. Confirm substrate, edge treatment and supports for the location.
Questions about your project.
Can I get an initial review without measured drawings?
Yes. Start with wall photographs, approximate room dimensions, the project city and a storage list. Identify utilities and equipment that must remain accessible. Initial dimensions help define the scope; final fabrication dimensions and site conditions still need verification before release.
Are garage cabinets priced by the wall length?
Wall length is only one input. Tall storage, drawer banks, work surfaces, hardware, cabinet depth and mounting requirements can change the package substantially. An itemized cabinet layout gives a more useful comparison than a single price for the entire wall.
Can the cabinets hold heavy tools or machinery?
Provide the intended contents and their weights during review. Shelf spans, cabinet construction, drawer-slide ratings and wall or floor support must be selected for those loads. We do not assign a universal capacity to every cabinet or assume a cabinet can support equipment without reviewing the assembly.
Do the residential portfolio photographs show completed garage installations?
The current portfolio illustrates completed interior cabinetry and built-ins. It should not be read as a garage installation case study. For your garage, we review the storage layout, materials, supporting construction and site requirements as a separate package.
